BOOKWORMS and music buffs can now get their hands on the objects of their affections a little quicker in Bristol’s libraries, thanks to the arrival of self-service machines.

Four self-service machines were used for the first time at the Central Library yesterdayMON, and another three will open at Henleaze library today.

Local residents are invited to find out more about the new library and learning centre, business units, houses and community facilities which will be opening in summer 2012 at the Junction 3 site in Easton, Bristol, at a special coffee morning at Mill House Youth Centre on Thursday 2nd June from 10am to 12 noon.

Staff from Knightstone Housing Association, Bristol Libraries and Single Parents Action Network will be on hand to give a free tour of the site at 10am and answer questions. There will also be an opportunity for residents to have their say about the library service, family learning resources and social housing which will feature at the new site.
